China will always promote world peace, contribute to global development, defend the international order and support the United Nations (UN) in playing a central role in international affairs, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng said on Monday.
The more complex and grave the international situation is, the more necessary it is to uphold genuine multilateralism and have a strong UN, Han said in his meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
