Chinese actor and singer Yu Menglong, best known for his roles in “Go Princess Go” and “Eternal Love,” has passed away after a fall, his studio confirmed on Thursday.
“We are deeply saddened to inform everyone that our beloved Menglong passed away after a fall on Thursday. According to the police investigation, criminality has been ruled out. May the deceased rest in peace, and may the living remain strong,” read a notice released by Yu’s working studio on Thursday.
Yu was born on June 15, 1988, in Urumqi, Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. He first gained prominence as a singer through talent shows such as “My Show” and “Happy Boys”, initially developing his career in the entertainment industry as a singer. In 2014, he began his transition to acting by participating in the drama “The Loving Home”. He later starred in various series, including “Go Princess Go” and “Eternal Love,” according to the Nanfang Plus.
